Mini Meme!

I got a little excited today when saw that the Gluten-Free Mommy tagged me “it” as part of the “8 Random Facts About Me” meme that is making the rounds in our little gluten-free world. I feel like Sally Fields, “You like me! You really like me!” Thanks Gluten-Free Mommy!

The rules for this meme game are:

1. Let others know who tagged you.

2. Players start with 8 random facts about themselves.

3. Those who are tagged should post these rules and their 8 random facts.

4. Players should tag 8 other people and notify them they have been tagged.

Here are my 8 random facts:

1. Sometimes when I get really, really angry, I throw things. And they break.
2. I wanted to be a pediatrician until chemistry got the best of me in college and I switched my major to English.
3. I secretly lust after Jon Stewart (don’t tell The Professor!).
4. I have lived through several Category 1 & 2 hurricanes, one Category 3 hurricane (Wilma) and one Category 5 hurricane (Andrew). I don’t know if this means I am lucky or unlucky. I guess it just means I live in South Florida!
5. My son, The Prince, was really supposed to be The Princess. Surprise! So much for the accuracy of sonograms.
6. I hate Jell-O.
7. My inner teenager thinks ipods are one of man’s (or Apple’s) greatest inventions.
8. As a child, I briefly wanted to be a nun. But that impulse soon passed.
