Merry Christmas to me! I recently received my first blog awards and I am so touched that such wonderful women think so highly of me. Elissa at Managing Autism presented me with the Nice Matters Award and I could not be more touched. She is one of the nicest people I know online and I feel honored to be in such good company.
Here is what the Nice Matters Award is all about: “This award is for those bloggers who are nice people; good blog friends and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration. Also for those who are a positive influence on our blogging world. Once you’ve been awarded please pass on to seven others whom you feel are deserving of this award.”
So, in the holiday spirit, and the knowledge that it is greater to give than to receive, here are my nominees for the Nice Matters Award. I know that many of these people have already received this award, but niceness should continue to be rewarded!

1. Thomas at The Gluten-Free Casein-Free Experience, because he has a generous spirit, is incredibly devoted to his family, and has really great recipes!
2. In the life of a child, who has received this award many times over, but she deserves it again. Her heartwarming stories always inspire me.
3. Natalie, The Gluten-free Mommy, who has to be one of the nicest mom bloggers around.
4. Carrie, The Ginger Lemon Girl, who makes me smile with her warm and wonderful stories of GFCF eating in the south.
5. Sea, at Book of Yum who is incredibly thoughtful and generously creates great recipe compilations, from time to time
6. Jim, at GFCF Recipes Blog, whose blog is a great resource for folks new to GFCF dietary issues
7. Genie, The Inadvertent Gardener, who has also received this award many times, and because she’s my cousin and has the best sense of humor of any gardener I know. She grows a mean tomato too!
